[GRASS-user] Can't start GRASS 6.0.0

Just out of curiosity, how did you install Grass 6.0? I would think that you
would also need superuser privileges to install 6.0.

Hello, as a new user... I guess I am getting the common problems... I 
intalled GRASS 6.0 because were I work I cannot intall 6.1 ( I cannot
unzip 
the files of the 6.1) as I am not the complete administrator of my
computer. 
I started to try with the shearfish data and when I try to ENTER GRASS
it 
does not start... I get the following error:
GRASS 6.0.0 (shearfish60):~>Error un start up script : child process
exited 
abno rmally when executing ...

I tried several times and I also tried to start it by using the command
"d.m 
& ", a screen (with a detail of a map) shows up Loading data, it says
Done 
but I get the same error again...

Can anyone advice me what to do? Thanks
