[GRASS-user] Duplicates category after using v.in.ogr

Hi to all!
I have imported an area vector Shape, using v.in.ogr, cause i need to run some 
v.distance issue. During the import process, it prompt out for overlapped 
feature and creates also a layer 2.Running v.distance, i noticed that i have 
got a lot of duplicates category warning, and v.category, prompt me this:

 7725/14142/40586/44545
 7725/14142/40586/44545
[..]
With clean, i have got no duplicates; the big problem is when i come back to 
Shape, beacuse of all the new elements created (The original feature are 
45836 and after shaping i have got 85676).

What i am missing?
