[GRASSLIST:468] Filling area between 2 lines...

Hi guys!
I am still fighting with my roads problem...now I'll try another solution:

For using the r.thin procedure, i need to fill the space between the 2 lines

And then convert to raster. I thought about a buffer and an union, but is not 
working..
Has someone ever faced this problem?
