[GRASS-user] shading

Hi,
I've imported a dted file and are now trying to create a shaded relief
of it. I entered the scalefactor for converting  hor units to elevation
units = 1.
The resul was a rasterfile with about 1000 times lower resolution, the I
changed scale factor to 0.002, but the result was the same.
How can I create a nice relief, I don't mind if the res gets half of the
original but this....
I've installed Wingrass6_3_cvs20071818.zip
