[GRASS-user] gis.m: file ppm not found

Hello, 

I did a GRASS 6.3 cvs update one hour ago and now I cannot display maps 
(raster/vector) anymore. The error message "file *.ppm not found" appears.

But that happens only in some locations, if I use spearfish it works fine.
BTW I can display my maps via d.mon-d.rast commands hence I think it is a 
gis.m problem.

any idea, how to fix this?
