How do run grass ? How do you run your commands.

Could you be more precise about these strange results, i.e. what did you 
do exactly and what were the exact messages ?

For me c:\ syntax works perfectly. I can use g.mlist both from the gis.m 
menu and from the cmd.exe command line.
