[GRASS-user] r.in.mat - problems importing Matlab files

Dear list,

problems encountered when I tried to import a Matlap file with the r.in.mat command.

This is the message from gis.m:
only little endian MAT-File(v4) binaries have been tested so far! Probably won't work.

 Are there possibly any conflicts with the processor? The GRASS (6.2.3) runs on a Intel Xeon CPU. The Linux distribution is Open Suse 10.2 (64 bit)
