Hey all, I am reposting my message below, since I think it got lost
during the conversation about getting Kynge's latest build running on
Tiger. Thanks much for your patience. (And if it was answered, can
someone please repost it, because I didn't get it.)

Brandon

Greetings all, and Happy Holidays,

I am helping to install grass for a colleague who has one of the new
intel macs running leopard. He installed first the OpenOSX GRASS, and
then the most recent 6.3.0-3-Leo Kyngesbury build, which is the one
he is currently running.

All seems to work smoothly so far - great aqua interface!

But there is one problem with the display of vector polygons as
boundaries only, without fill. On older versions, there was a simple
checkbox for 'Fill areas' in the options for a vector layer. This is
no longer present in the options, and under the color tab there are
only various color pickers for the fill, lacking a 'no color' option
as far as I can tell. How cam vector polys be displayed in this new
version as just boundaries, no fill? Is it a combination of the
shape, line, boundary, area boxes? We tried some of those, but the
display still shows the filled polygon with a centroid. Perhaps it is
a refresh problem? Thanks much for any help with this.

Best,
Brandon
