[GRASS-user] minor annoyance with sqlite db driver

I recently converted several of my mapsets over to the sqlite datebase driver. 

I noticed that when a long-running process (such as v.surf.rst) happens to 
write to a vector attribute table at the same time some other process tries 
to access and attribute table (d.vect ... where=...) the first process dies 
saying that the database is locked. 

Has this behavior been documented elsewhere? Anyone else notice this type of 
situation?
