[GRASS-user] Grass crashes when importing shapefile

could you expand on that? does a system error window pop up?

perhaps it is running out of memory? (I'm not sure how OSX deals with
that)  if so, try the v.in.ogr -t flag.

is the shapefile huge? does a small one work?
