sure...anytime!
Now I have a problem though:
I was curious and I updated to revision 36943.
I had a couple of errors in compilation
Errors in:
/usr/local/src/grass_trunk/gui/wxpython/vdigit
/usr/local/src/grass_trunk/gui/wxpython/nviz
make in those folders didn't work.
I remember that I updated from python2.5 to 2.6
(and this sounds like a python problem, doesn't it?)
The update manager didn't install python2.6-dev
so I did it manually and changed the configure parameter
from --with-python=/usr/bin/python2.5-config
to --with-python=/usr/bin/python2.6-config
now it compiles (although the shell reads many "warning messages"
and it kind of gets stuck on NVIZ and VDIGIT)
and I end up with:
Errors in:
No errors detected.
..I can install it but NVIZ and VDIGIT don't work!
..well...they don't work well:
NVIZ starts but when I drag the display window it goes blank.
The shell reads:
GRASS 7.0.svn (nc_spm_08):/usr/local/src/grass_trunk > get fences
failed: -1
param: 6, val: 0
Any idea of why does this happen?
cheers,
mitch.
