First success of the bugfix initiative:

the long standing (11 months) and annoying bug
https://trac.osgeo.org/qgis/ticket/1133 has been fixed.
Please consider joining in: I cannot believe none of you have an
annoying bug, and that nobody is willing to invest a few tens of
euros/dollars to fix it.
