Michael,

thank you for answering. I tried to remove and then reinstall gdal and
proj4, then recompiled grass, with the same result. In text mode, grass
works and answers at :

GRASS 6.5.svn (spearfish60):~ > g.region -gp
n=4928000
s=4914020
w=590010
e=609000
nsres=30
ewres=30
rows=466
cols=633
cells=294978

but in tclck i have the same problem i had before.
