[GRASS-user] how to get signatures from modis data

hello,
iam working on modis data. After geocorrecting the dataset iam unable to get
signatures.... by using i.class  ( after selecting features if i try to
analyse then i face error : prepare data signatures ) please help me how to
classify modis data...is therere any another method....
