Both yesterday and today I tried to run the nviz animations. They invoke gxine/mplayer, then hang the display on my system. If I'm lucky, the keyboard is not frozen and I can switch to a different console and kill X. Otherwise, I need to ssh in from my notebook and kill X that way. Major PITA! Rich
