[GRASS-user] fill NULL VALUES in a huge raster map

I am having a really hard time with this. I have a large LIDAR data
set that needs to be be made into a DEM. I have successfully gotten
the tiles to process (148), and they are also patched together with no
problem. There are seams of NULL values around each of the DEMs and I
would like to fill them... I have tried to break the region up into
smaller pieces and r.fillnulls that and then move the computational
region do it agian... But this is not working as the filled values
are only showing up in a map the size of the computational region.
What do I do?

Let's not spend our time and resources thinking about things that are
so little or so large that all they really do for us is puff us up and
make us feel like gods. We are mammals, and have not exhausted the
annoying little problems of being mammals.
