[GRASS-user] new 6.4.1 gui- "enter values interactively"

Greetings

I'm trying the new 6.4.1 interface and I have one question:
in my GRASS Python scripts, where I'm suppose to enter the path for external
files, I have one data field with the following title:
"or enter values interactively". What is this? and what is its function?
