[GRASS-user] error compiling grass65svn and addons for grass64

Hello,

You need to edit /path/to/grass/include/Make/Platform.make file (may
need a root for GRASS installed from packages) and change line
"GRASS_HOME" to point to /path/to/grass. Look around that file and
check that other paths also point to existing files and not some
/usr/src/packages/BUILD nonsense.

If You plan to use custom modules (add-ons etc.) I strongly suggest to
compile GRASS from source. You can run GRASS directly from source
directory (no make install required) and easy update it via "svn up"
to get latest fixes. Easy compilation of addons might be fixed at
6.4.1 time, still it's not today.
