[GRASS-user] Python: Polyline to Raster

Hello,

I am new to GRASS GIS and want to use GRASS commands  via
Pyhton. Now I try to write a executable python script which
transfroms a Polyine (shp-file from ArcGIS) into a raster file
and then I want to thin and reclassify the rastermap (line = 1, noline =nodatavalue).

How do I define the import of the polyline and how do I set cooordinate systems etc python. Maybe someone can give me a python-example of that steps.
