[GRASS-user] d.his command in GRASS 6.4.1 with wxpython GUI?

With the tcltk GUI I can do this:

d.his h_map=elev_filled at adams i_map=elev_filled_shade at adams brighten=0

to create a very nice shaded relief map, draped with another raster, such as elevations. How do I do this with the wxpython GUI? Running the command at the terminal does not work because it requires d.mon to be run to select a monitor -- does this mean the d.his command can not be used with the wxpython GUI?
