Thank you Glynn, i will try that. In the meantime im going to take a
look/revise some other options. This might have to do with the digitized
lines (r.surf.contour as you said is sensible to their geographic features
and distance), maybe the resolution also. It seems that i always end with a
shaded relief map with some artificial terraces (depending on the
resolution) and some artifacts. For example when using 20by20 resolution
those artificial terraces tend to disappear but i loose detail and the map
looks more blurred. There is any other routes or options to refine the DEM?
Maybe trying other commands or using other mapcalc parameters.
