ok i was able to delete the cat_ column with: v.db.dropcol (I think this
deletes permenently? or just omits?). Now i have another problem the layer i
created wih r.random has a column with double precision type value, but
v.patch only allows the patch of two maps with same type (in my case would
be integer). Is it possible to change the column type from double precision
to integer?
