[GRASS-user] [GRASS_USR] configure GRASS GIS

Hello all users
I try to use GRASS-6.4.0RC6 under Fedora8. I want to configure GRASS for python 
so I run the following instruction:
./configure --with-python=/usr/bin/python2.5-config 
--with-gdal=/usr/local/bin/gdal-config
then I run 'make', But I encounter the following errors:

In case of errors please change into the directory with error and run 'make'.
If you get multiple errors, you need to deal with them in the order they
appear in the error log. If you get an error building a library, you will
also get errors from anything which uses the library. "
When I change directory and run 'make' there is another error:
"libgrass_pngdriver.so: undefined refrenced to 'png_set_longjmp_fn' "
I find this library in the path '/usr/local/grass-6.4.0RC6/lib' 
and add this path to the '/etc/ld.so.conf.d'
 but these problems didn't solve,I don't know what shoud I do?
Whoul you please giude me how to use 'configure' and its options to utilize 
GRASS in Pytone.
