Is there already a wiki place/page where to start? I have noticed an 
"Applications" page in the wiki:
http://grass.osgeo.org/wiki/Applications

would that be the place?

We have a couple of so-called "open access" papers with GIS analysis 
performed using GRASS from which it would be easy to draw material under 
CC-ShareAlike license (they are Creative Commons Attribution CC BY).
