[GRASS-user] GRASS-7 dependencies

Hi -

I'm trying to install GRASS 7 using the Barton binaries on OS X 10.6.8.  On start up I get a message:

GRASS 7.0.svn (oh_s_3402):~ > 3D view mode: dlopen(/Applications/GRASS-7.0.app/Contents/MacOS/lib/libgrass_display.7.0.svn.dylib, 10): Library not loaded: /Library/Frameworks/FreeType.framework/Versions/2.4/FreeType
  Referenced from: /Applications/GRASS-7.0.app/Contents/MacOS/lib/libgrass_driver.7.0.svn.dylib
  Reason: Incompatible library version: libgrass_driver.7.0.svn.dylib requires version 14.0.0 or later, but FreeType provides version 13.0.0

I'm using the KyngChaos frameworks where it appears FreeType was updated in December to the latest version - 2.4.8

My question is - to what do the 14.0.0 and 13.0.0 refer and how can I meet this requirement?

The effect on GRASS 7 is to prevent the launch of the d.rast  dialog - (probably among other things) which returns this error:

Unable to fetch interface description for command 'd.rast'.
Details: dyld: Library not loaded:
/Library/Frameworks/FreeType.framework/Versions/2.4/FreeType
