[GRASS-user] Recent errors on GRASS6.4.2

Hi,

I observe two errors in my GRASS-GIS 6.4.2 from UbuntuGIS-Repository 
with sqlite as database. Does someone know whether these refer to 
missing dependancies of UbuntuGIS or are errors of my system and - in 
case of the latter - eventually how I can fix this?

1.) When starting GRASS I get the message: "3D view mode: 
/usr/lib/grass64/lib/libgrass_ogsf.6.4.2.so: symbol TIFFSetField, 
version GDAL_1.8 not defined in file libgdal.so.1 with link time 
reference".

2.) When viewing attributes of a layer, I can identify it with the 
query-tool, but get an empty table when selecting "show attribute data". 
The shell will show a long list of packages, with the title "Memory 
map", an extract of this is shown below. This does not happen for layers 
imported from postgrsql, but for a layer that I imported from shapefile. 
I also did reset the encoding, as this proofed to be an issue in the 
query-selector, but that had no effect on the outcome of the 
attribute-table.

Any help or hint would be very appreciated,
