[GRASS-user] v.in.ascii error: bad type reading source file

v.in.ascii [...] format=standard [...]

format=string
    Input file format
    Options: point,standard
    Default: point
    point: simple x,y[,z] list
    standard: GRASS vector ASCII format

try format=point (or just leave it,, because  Default: point)
