[GRASS-user] Problem in install Extensions from addons

Sorry to chip in but I have been having trouble with add-ons in Ubuntu 
for ages - Hamish's response to Carla's email inspired me to try again, 
here's how far I get...

First up specs:
GRASS version: 6.4.3RC2                                                         
GRASS SVN
 Revision:                                                             
GIS Library Revision: 50937 (2012-02-25)                                        
GDAL/OGR:
 1.9.2                                                                 
PROJ4: Rel. 4.8.0, 6 March 2012                                                 
Python:
 2.7.3                                                                   
wxPython: 2.8.12.1                                                              
Platform: Linux-3.2.0-37-generic-pae-i686-with-Ubuntu-12.04-precise

I have the same error as Carla when installing through gui so switched to terminal.

First
 I tried g.extension extension=r.out.kml svnurl=http://svn.osgeo.org/grass/grass-addons/grass6
but this ended in an error so I echo $GRASS_ADDONS_PATH and added the path the command.

g.extension extension=r.out.kml svnurl=http://svn.osgeo.org/grass/grass-addons/grass6 prefix=/home/becca/.grass6/addons

but this still ends in an error full export attached as txt file.

Any help appreciated!
