[GRASS-user] grass 6.4.3 - can't launch wxpython interface on Ubuntu 13.10

Hi

I just installed GRASS 6.4.3 from the central ubuntu repository and tried
to launch grass and got this on the command line:


WELCOME TO GRASS              Version 6.4.3         2013

   1) Have at your side all available GRASS tutorials

   2) When working on your location, the following materials
      are extremely useful:
      - A topo map of your area
      - Current catalog of available computer maps

   3) Check the GRASS webpages for feedback mailinglists and more:
      http://www.grass-gis.org
      http://grass.osgeo.org

grass --wxpython
grass64 --wypython

but I still can't get grass to launch without the welcome message on the
command line

How can I change this?
