   Perhaps a running CHANGELOG on the download page of the wes site would
help. In there major changes, by release (including development releases)
would be recorded.

   The CHANGELOG could include addition of new features, significant changes
in existing features, file storage structure changes, major updates to
modules, and other information of value to users.
