... by gdalinfo on one of the subdatasets, not on the netcdf file directly,
e.g.

gdalinfo NETCDF:"g2_BIOPAR_LST_201606220100_GLOBE_GEO_V1.2.nc":LST

note that the resolution you get (0.04464286) is close to what is reported
in the metadata:

NC_GLOBAL#parent_identifier=urn:cgls:global:lst_v1_0.045degree

assuming units are degrees.
