[GRASS-user] Even I Don't Believe It: GRASS GIS worked!!

Well, sports fans, after another day of doing this and doing that, entering "grass78 --gui" suddenly displayed the well-illustrated gui!!

I was certain it would crash, but there it is on one of the other monitors: in living color. I'll rehearse the details tomorrow since here in the Central time zone of North America it's now 11:30 pm.
