GRASS GIS is looking good! We, at ibiblio, are pleased to support your
endeavors by providing hosting and web services. in return, could we
ask two things of you:
1- Indicate somewhere on your homepage that ibiblio is providing the web
hosting services? You could include one of our "Hosted by ibiblio"
images/logos at the bottom of your site's home page if you really wanted
to. You may choose an image size and format from
http://www.ibiblio.org/hosted/
2- We would like to have your project listed in our index. It's a
pretty simple process:
The directions are on the faq page: http://www.ibiblio.org/faq/ We
would also appreciate if you could add a note on your homepage
acknowledging that your web hosting is being provided by ibiblio. If you
would like to use an image, we have a variety of images at:
http://www.ibiblio.org/hosted/
First step - go to the collection page . Click on the category (s) that
describe your site and check to see if it is there. If it's not, make a
note of what categories you think should have your site, but don't.
Second step - go to collection admin page, log in using your ibiblio
(metalab, sunsite) user name and password. After login, you can add a
new site or modify a the description of an existing site (Think you can
describe your site better than we can? You're right! You probably can -
make any changes to your site description there.)
When you've completed the changes, mark the collection as 'ready'. It
will be instantly be added to the collection index and pages. It will
appears in the 'collection additions' section on the home page within a
day or two.
If you have any questions, let me know - thanks, Serena
