Hello,

I'm a rainforest ecologist. I purchased Grass 5.0.2 so that I might 
make maps for some of my scientific papers.

What I was looking for was something that would give me an image of 
the world, allow me to select a part of it, zoom in on it, draw some 
polygons and then colour or texturize them using some painting tool.

I'm sure your programme will do this - but I have not been able to 
discover how.

Would you be kind enough to tell me?
