well, I think the compile process must be documented unless it is identical
to the common GRASS compilation. I really didn't mind to update (and sorry,
the web was pointing to an old version, fixed). So it should be a sort
of current now (but doesn't reflect latest driver developments yet, see
local file for that or my other mail).

Yes, I have been writing this file today :-)
