AW: [winGRASS] GRASS 6.0.0 release - libgrass*.6.1.cvs.dll not found - reason!

Hi Cho,

does this mean, it is not possible to use 6.0.0 and 6.1.cvs parallel on one
Cygwin-computer ? And you have to use the right gdal-grass for the
GRASS-Version you are using?

If this is true it explains a few problems I had.
Anyway I produced the CygwinGRASS-0.3.1 wich uses the current grass-6.1.cvs
as default and 6.0.0 can be installed alternatively (by modifying the
Packagelist)
Well it also creates the grass61.bat and a ln -s to the IE, if it is
installed under C:\programme\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe (germen
version!) - I will put this in an postinstallscript wich assures that the
softlink is set to an existing iexplore.exe (but this will take up to 2
weeks, because I'm very busy.

This changes are very Cygwin-special, so i think we can not include them in
the GRASS-CVS or?

Hi,

That's because of the GDAL library. To support r.out.gdal, I had to
compile my gdal library with grass support and it means gdal is linked
to a certain version of the grass library.

Download the corresponding file:

	for 6.0.0,	grass/gdal-grass6.0.0-1.2.3-1.tar.bz2
	for 6.0.cvs	grass/gdal-grass6.0.cvs-1.2.3-1.tar.bz2
	for 6.1.cvs	grass/gdal-grass6.1.cvs-1.2.3-1.tar.bz2
