[winGRASS] Slightly botched WinGRASS startup

I have WinGRASS 6.0.0 installed and operating correctly using IE for help.
I was experimenting with exiting the GUI and restarting it from Bash using
d.m &
from the command line.
Somehow, I botched something so that now when I click on the Grass60. bat
to start WinGRASS,
instead of proceeding immediately to the graphical WinGRASS entry screen
(showing spearfish57 on the left
and with user1 selected on the right)
- it provides me with a Bash text screen with "spearfish57" and "user1"
already appearing on the appropriate lines
- Without entering anything, I can click on Esc-then-Enter and I will be in
WinGRASS without the GUI
- In the Bash, I can execute
d.m &
and the WinGRASS 6.0.0 GIS Manager comes up
Other than doing a full re-install (at which I have become somewhat
proficient!),
what do I change to have it so that when I click on Grass60.bat, it will
proceed
immediately to the WinGRASS entry screen as it originally did?
(with spearfish57 shown on the left and user1 selected on the right)?
What do I avoid doing so that this won't happen again?
