[winGRASS] not importing blue band of geotiff

Hi,

I'm using the GRASS import function to import a 3-band Quickbird image. 
I've tried to import it as a geotiff, an ERDAS file, and an ESRI grid. My 
problem is that in all of these formats the blue band will not import- 
GRASS just hangs up when it gets to the band 3 point in the import. Does 
anyone know how to fix this?
