in trunk, I think it may still be in GRASS6.4 - I will check.
I just ran it and I can confirm that it crashes on MS windows - 
we are running Marco's GRASS63 binary. In runs on GRASS63 linux version
(compiled from source) and on older GRASS63 on Mac.
