Πράγματι Άγγελε, ο Maxim Dubinin του εργαστηρίου που το έφτιαξε (http://gis-lab.info/qa/qgis2google-eng.html)  απάντησε ότι: Hi
the correct way to solve it would be to rewrite the whole plugin in Python, but we don't have resources to do that at the moment.

We also can't keep up with rapidly changing QGIS codebase, that's why plugin stops working all the time.

We'll see what we can do, but please don't expect fast solution.

Εγώ, επειδή δεν μπορώ να το ξαναγράψω σε .py, ούτε να ξανασυνθέσω το .dll,  δοκίμασα το εξής απλό: μετέφερα ολόκληρο το φάκελο OSGEO4W (trunk) από τον παλαίο H/Y win XP-32b στο C του νέου (μετονομάζοντας πρώτα τον υφιστάμενο). Ο παλαιός έχει την έκδοση QGIS 1.6.0 "Copiapo" (στο οποίο λειτουργούσε κανονικά το πρόσθετο), ενώ ο νέος έχει την έκδοση 1.8.0 "Lisboa". Αποτέλεσμα: To QGis φορτώνει κανονικά και το πρόσθετο λειτουργεί κανονικά. Άρα φαίνεται ότι το πρόβλημα δεν είναι η πλατφόρμα win7-64b αλλά η έκδοση του QGIS. Το πρόβλημα με τις νέες εκδόσεις ίσως θα λυθεί εάν το plugin
 γραφτεί σε Python αλλά ποιος θα κάνει τη δουλειά;

I have been using the Qgis2google Plugin since 2009 and I found it very usefull!
Lately I installed Qgis 1.8.0 on a new win7-64bits PC (OSGEO4W), then I downloaded this plugin from http://gis-lab.info/qa/qgis2google-eng.html as usual, but every time I try to activate it through the plugin manager, Qgis crushes (but it works perfectly without this plugin). Take in mind that the same plugin works ok on a win7-32bit Laptop (I installed it at the same time). I have noticed the same problem in a report in May 2010 archives by  Giovanni Manghi but today it is going for another Qgis version and computing platform. Is there any idea to solve the problem?

Καλησπέρα Αντώνη,

Από ότι βλέπω στην λίστα του QGIS, έχει αναφερθεί ξανά το πρόβλημα
    σε αυτό το plugin και η λύση είναι να το κάνεις compile από τον
    κώδικα για την έκδοση του QGIS που έχεις.
Αυτό συμβαίνει επειδή είναι C++ plugin και απαιτεί recompile για να
    ενεργοποιηθεί. Εφόσον το έχουν κάνει compile για 32bit, είναι λογικό
    να μην παίζει στα 64....
