[Ica-osgeo-labs] Idea: GeoForAll Sprint

Hi Lene,

Pardon my tired old FOSS4G brain, but, I'm trying to remember if it was
you who I ran into during FOSS4G-Como, and we spoke of the next QGIS
event for 2016, which is already being planned, but not in Denmark.
(during the QGIS event in Nødebo a group agreed with the QGIS PSC to
host the next event in 2016) My apologies but I don't want to share the
place name yet as they will be announcing soon.

Anyway, I did run into someone in Como who thought there was no event
planned by the QGIS PSC for 2016, and I disagreed, and recently I
confirmed with Tim Sutton that my assumptions are correct: that this
[unnamed] group [could be on a resort island, could be] will be hosting.
And, a few weeks ago I received a direct message from one of the
organizers that the event planning is in motion (I relayed that to Tim,
and he said they are aware).

Short story: be sure to let the QGIS PSC know now if you're also
planning an event. :)

Shorter story: the GeoForAll gang should be watching for news from QGIS
for their next 2016 event

Sorry to be a downer Lene, not meant that way, I just want to make sure
everyone is in the know.

-jeff
