All,

I’m currently designing such a feature add-on for a Open(ish) AVL system I’ve already developed. The paln is to put it out as a open Source project6 once the phone tracking/tagging capabilities are prototyped.

Subject: [Ica-osgeo-labs] Fwd: Mapping phone apps

Hi GeoForAll colleagues,

A faculty colleague of mine, Krista Harper, is asking about easy-to-use Android and iPhone apps for collecting point locations (and perhaps attributes). Any recommendations? Please cc Krista on your response.

Patrick: is there anything like this for use with NASA World Wind? Seems like an important, generic 'Urban Science-related' application.

Thanks!

Dear Charlie,

I have a quick question: What mapping apps for iPhone and Android do you recommend for creating pins when you are walking around a neighborhood?
