Cameron,

When you say this is an automated build, do you mean in the sense that
it gets automatically built on some server every so often (ie. daily)
or just automatic in the sense that having makefiles is automatic?  I
haven't really used ant much, but just thought of it as a make analog.

Ideally "autobuilds" would be setup to occur on a system somewhere
on a schedule, and there would be some sort of notification, either
as a web page or a status email if the builds are not working.

I'm a big fan of starting with a small test suite, getting it "into play"
and then growing it as time permits, especially focusing on adding to it
for any new functions or old functions that get fixed.   I am certainly
not suggesting we require a comprehensive test suite for foundation
projects.
