[Incubator] autobuild/autotest for OSGeo projects

appologies if this has been brought up before (I searched the archive  
and didn't see anything relevant).  Has anyone thought of  
investigating tinderbox (http://www.mozilla.org/tinderbox.html) for  
this purpose, especially for the larger projects that need to be  
'built' on multiple platforms?
