Yes, we develop a yearly workplan and try to stick to that. This year  
will be more like a 1.5 year :-) We are finishing a major release of  
the project now (v2.1) and plan a second release (v2.2) in September,  
just before FOSS4G and another number of events. 2.2 will have added  
features more than core functionality and can as such be released  
relatively quick after 2.1.
After those releases we plan a workshop on GeoNetwork to set out our  
new work plan for 2007-2008.

Yes, the one issues we identified with a dependency on an API with an  
incompatible license has been resolved by replacing the library with  
a compatible one. The dependencies still need to be documented online  
to show their license compatibility with the GeoNetwork code.

No, I think that's all correct. We have a lower priority to the  
incubation process because of the work on finalizing the release 2.1  
and the required updating of our operational systems to that version  
which is also due for mid september to keep us busy.
