Bruce,
Having known you for a while, through Aust-NZ and FOSS4G 2009, I think 
you would make an excellent mentor, and I'd be more than happy to help 
you out as a mentor's mentor if required.

My only caveat is that I wont have time to help out until after FOSS4G 
(end of October).
