Dear Peter,
for example me: I'm employed by Help Service - Remote Sensing.
Therefore nearly all the time, I spend with PyWPS during my working day,
is paid by this company. If the company would get some money through
sell of PyWPS code under nonGPL license, it would be reinvested back for
sure. I can provide anyone with concrete dates and times, I spend with
PyWPS two years back.
But the general idea is the same described in previous mails. And
concrete example is Humboldt project development. Because the Humboldt
partners decided to use LGPL - they needed special copy of PyWPS. And
again, money from Humboldt project was used for further PyWPS
development (I can guarantee this, oh yes, I can) and so - this makes
perfectly sense (to me).
Of course, PyWPS developers, are informed and afaik they accepted it.
Any non-GPL dependency was removed from PyWPS source.
Just for clarifying this
