The rasdaman community gladly announces the release of rasdaman version 8.4.0, now available for download from the rasdaman web site:  http://rasdaman.eecs.jacobs-university.de/trac/rasdaman/wiki/Download.



See instructions and links below for available ways to get it as source to compile or packaged (RPM).



Note that we are transitioning to a new release model ( http://rasdaman.eecs.jacobs-university.de/trac/rasdaman/wiki/RasdamanReleaseProcess ) that will establish banches for maintenance of stable releases, meanwhile to get the release from our git repository you can use:
git clone git://kahlua.eecs.jacobs-university.de/rasdaman.git
git checkout v8.4.0         #current release tag
autoreconf -fi              #prepare for configuring on your machine
Then configure and make as usual ( http://rasdaman.eecs.jacobs-university.de/trac/rasdaman/wiki/Install)
