I think you threw an w in subject. Should be MapLibre GL or just MapLibre which is a fork of the old MapBox that changed licensing to be not open source.

I would love to see this as a project in OSGeo as I use this library quite a bit and love it.

So +1 from me to also try to push them thru incubation.

Working at OSGeo booth (well GeoCat booth table nearby) with to add MapLibre to osgeo website.

Going through the checklist:

1.	Be geospatial
Confirm by checking README or project description
https://github.com/maplibre/maplibre-gl-js/blob/main/README.md

It has Map in the name; I think it is GeoSpatial enough for me.
2.	Have a free license or open source license
The license must be OSI approved

https://github.com/maplibre/maplibre-gl-js/blob/main/LICENSE.txt
3.	Welcome participation and new contributors.
We look for a clear contribution policy.

https://github.com/maplibre/maplibre-gl-js/blob/main/CONTRIBUTING.md

With that in mind I am giving "nyurik" project author permissions and look forward to seeing this listed on the website.

Json Singh also helped with feedback indicating that "Listing a project on OSGeo Website" is more clear, less chance being confused with joining the foundation.

It is also helping to show directly the https://www.osgeo.org/choose-a-project/ page it is very effective.
