If you do not have permission let me know and I can adjust.

+1 from me.

The qgis-processing-trajectory is a separate repo from https://github.com/movingpandas/movingpandas (which is what is being asked for), so I see no issue with it being under a different license

Besides GPL is a valid OS license anyway.

Again, there is a contributing policy for movingpandas repo which is what is being asked for incubation – here - https://github.com/movingpandas/movingpandas/blob/main/CONTRIBUTING.md

And looking at the contributor list, there are 34 contributors.

So I’m not seeing any issue here.

Thanks,

Regina

Subject: Re: [Incubator] MovingPandas step 1

Thanks Anita,

Before I give a +1 I would like to through the checklist:

To be listed on the OSGeo website:

1. Be geospatial

o Confirm by checking README or project description
https://github.com/movingpandas/qgis-processing-trajectory/blob/main/README.md (good!)

2. Have a free license or open source license

o The license must be OSI approved
https://github.com/movingpandas/qgis-processing-trajectory shows GPL not BSD? (unclear based on your email)

While I assume this is just the QGIS Plugin that is GPL I will ask for a better link/example...

3. Welcome participation and new contributors.

o We look for a clear contribution policy

I do not see a CONTRIBUTING.md file (which is the hithub convention shown to prospective pull-request authors to "agree").

PR history shows https://github.com/movingpandas/qgis-processing-trajectory/pulls?q=is%3Apr+is%3Aclosed shows contributions by yourself and Chris (of http://nwt.ac <http://nwt.ac/> ).

So +0 for the moment :)

Dear Incubation Committee,

I would like to ask permission to list my project "MovingPandas" on the
OSGeo website in order to share my work with more people.

The project provides data structures and analytical functions for movement
data and is built on GeoPandas.

The repository is located here:
https://github.com/movingpandas/movingpandas released using BSD-3-Clause
license.

Futhermore, MovingPandas is the basis for the QGIS plugin Trajectools
(https://github.com/movingpandas/qgis-processing-trajectory).

As far as I can see, I already have the rights to create project pages, so
I'm just asking for your permission to go ahead.

Thanks!

Anita
